BitsForge is a growing
technology venture rooted in the FabLab
and maker communities, focused on
digital fabrication, prototyping,
technical training, and the development
of custom hardware and machines.
Our journey began in Kerala, working closely with the FabLab ecosystem and makers to make digital fabrication technologies more accessible and useful for education, innovation, and industry. Today, we serve customers across Kerala and have expanded our work beyond India, with active projects and customers in Bhutan and business engagements in other parts of India. We believe strongly in the principles of open-source hardware and software, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community-driven innovation. These values shape the way we design solutions, deliver training, support fabrication facilities, and work with our customers and partners. Our customers and collaborators include Kerala Startup Mission's Super FabLab Kerala, Super FabLab Thimphu in Bhutan, and several FabLabs and digital fabrication facilities across India and Bhutan. We also work as a regional partner for the Fab Foundation, supporting its local clients and projects in the region. Our capabilities extend beyond supplying fabrication equipment. We provide a broad range of services including FabLab setup and support, digital fabrication training, technical consultancy, rapid prototyping, electronics and embedded hardware development, custom CNC machine design and development, and other specialized engineering solutions. Whether it is setting up a new digital fabrication facility, training a team to operate and design with digital fabrication tools, developing a custom machine, or turning an idea into a functional prototype, BitsForge brings together practical engineering experience and the collaborative spirit of the maker community. BitsForge's new venture is to explore our in-house strong
capability in the field of FOSS and Linux. We are offering
solutions in the filed of Linux operating system. We can
provide high quality easy to grab workshops or training
sessions to help institutions to move ahead in the field
of content delivery and simple scripting tools to deal
with text data.Our training focus areas in this regard as of now are: (1) Simple tools for easy website creations and management on local servers. (2) Network (LAN) setup and management using Linux, especially command line tools. (3) Using the command line - aka terminal - for improved work efficiency in Linux OS environment.
